Heat and Cool Any Room Without Ducts
A ductless mini split heats and cools a room, or a whole home, with no ductwork. EHI installs Midea Hyper Heat systems across Ontario from $5,500.
Voted Best Company 2019 to 2021 · Authorized Midea, Lennox, Kepler & Rinnai dealer, plus Goodman · 20+ years

Ductless systems solve the spaces central heating and cooling leaves behind. These are the calls we get most.
The original ductwork was never sized for it. A single-zone mini-split gives that room its own heating and cooling, on its own thermostat, without re-ducting the house.
A wall-mounted or slim-duct head in the basement heats it in winter and dehumidifies it in summer. No more space heaters, no more musty smell.
One or two ductless heat pump heads can heat and cool the main living space for a fraction of the cost of electric baseboards. Larger homes move up to a multi-zone ductless system.
Where the building allows an outdoor unit on the balcony or wall, a ductless air conditioner installation is the cleanest fix. Quiet, efficient and far better looking than a window unit.
A Midea Hyper Heat ductless heat pump handles both, runs on a standard 240V circuit and keeps running down to -30°C for winter weekends.
A small single-zone head keeps a garage, studio or office comfortable year-round without tying it into the house system.
A ductless mini split AC replaces it with a whisper-quiet wall unit, better efficiency and real heating in winter. The window goes back to being a window.
Describe the problem and we'll tell you what it usually is, what it costs to fix, and whether it's worth fixing.

Ductless mini split installation in Ontario starts at $5,500 installed with EHI for a single-zone Midea Hyper Heat system, including the bracket, line set, condensate drain and 240V circuit. Multi-zone systems with two to five heads are quoted per home, and every quote is a guaranteed final price.
Yes. A cold-climate ductless mini split heat pump like the Midea Hyper Heat is rated to keep heating down to -30°C and holds strong capacity at -15°C, which covers most Ontario winter nights. In Northern Ontario or for very cold snaps, many homeowners keep baseboards or a furnace as backup.
Cold-climate ductless heat pumps can qualify for the Home Renovation Savings Program if the model is on NRCan's qualified products list and pre-approval is in place before installation. The rebate is based on heat pump size and your heating fuel. We check eligibility and handle the paperwork.
A single-zone ductless mini split installation usually takes four to six hours. Multi-zone systems with several heads take one to two days depending on how many rooms and how far the line sets run.
One single-zone head can handle an open-concept main floor or a small bungalow, but closed-off bedrooms and a basement usually need their own heads. For a whole home without ducts, a multi-zone system with two to five indoor units is the better fit.
Yes. A ductless heat pump needs its own dedicated 240V circuit and an outdoor disconnect. EHI includes this work, done by ESA-licensed electricians, in the installed price, and we check that your panel has room for the new breaker.
